St Thomas' Hospital, in Lambeth, has one of the busiest emergency departments (A&E) in London and is home to a wide range of specialties including:

• women's services (including maternity)
• acute medicine and ageing and health
• critical care
• gastro-intestinal medicine and surgery
• general surgery
• plastic surgery
• eye (ophthalmology)

St Thomas' is our largest hospital with 840 beds.

It's also home to one of London's busiest maternity services, where over 6,000 babies a year are born, with the support of our specialist obstetric, medical and midwifery care.
