Join the Friends of Ruskin Park for a relaxed gardening session with experienced community gardener Caroline and park attendant Tim.
Tasks will range from simple maintenance such as watering, weeding and pruning, to helping grow plants for the park’s flower beds.
No experience is needed. There will be opportunities to learn about growing plants, composting and cuttings.
We will meet at the Hut near the Community Garden. You are welcome to stay for all or part of the session and we will return to the Community Garden for tea and a chat at the end. Feel free to bring your lunch.
