A Festive Evening with Mo
December 10, 2022, 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Event Navigation

Maureen Obi is back at Faith’s Place, the Vauxhall City Farm bar, on Saturday 10th December, for a special festive evening of acapella song!
Mo has been a Lambeth resident for over 28 years and wears many different hats.
These hats include: being an officer of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, practising as a child, civil and human rights lawyer in a career spanning 31 years; an advocate for charity through her work with the Woman’s Equality Party; a mother/ guardian of three children; a director of a charitable organisation with the objective of raising awareness of the importance of building emotional intelligence and resilience; a workshop facilitator of growth and expansion in personal development; a strong voice for those unable to use their own; a community radio broadcaster; a netballer; a community school governor; and a volunteer for many charities, including one especially close to Mo’s heart: Vauxhall City Farm.
What many do not know about Mo is that she has a talent. Mo has a voice, a soulful voice and a resonant, natural instrument. With little training, Mo has developed a unique way of using this voice and understands the importance of sharing her gift.
Mo sings acapella and will take her audience on a journey – a journey to Love. Mo’s only request is that you close your eyes, open your heart, and let her voice, her gift, inspire you.
Mo thanks Faith’s Place and Vauxhall City Farm for this opportunity.
The event will be held at Faith’s Place, the bar at Vauxhall City Farm, on Saturday 10th December. Tickets are £5, and all profits will help fund the vital work that Vauxhall City Farm does throughout the year.
Tickets are also available on our website without the Eventbrite fee: https://www.vauxhallcityfarm.org/events/a-festive-evening-with-mo/
